Using KELO-COTE® Children's Scar Cream is very simple. Here are the recommended usage steps:
1. Ensure the wound has completely healed. You can only start using KELO-COTE® Children's Scar Cream after the wound has fully healed.
2. Clean and dry the skin around the wound. Gently clean the skin around the wound with a mild cleanser, then pat it dry with a soft towel.
3. Squeeze out an appropriate amount of KELO-COTE® Children's Scar Cream. Squeeze out enough to cover the entire scar area. If you squeeze out too much, the silicone gel may take longer to dry.
4. Gently massage and apply. Use clean fingers to gently massage and apply the KELO-COTE® Children's Scar Cream gel until it is evenly distributed over the scar.
5. Wait for it to dry. Let the KELO-COTE® Children's Scar Cream dry, which usually takes a few minutes. If the silicone gel is still not dry after four to five minutes, it means you may have applied too much. Simply gently wipe off the excess silicone gel from the surface. Once dry, you can proceed to use your daily cosmetics, sunscreen products, or put on clothes.
6. Use it twice a day. It is recommended to use it twice a day for 3 months or longer for the best results. You can choose to apply KELO-COTE® Children's Scar Cream in the morning and evening or at other fixed times.
